Surgical Lip Implant

Board Certified Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeons

Surgical lip implant surgery is a permanent solution for those patients who seek to restore symmetry, volume, and definition to their lips. At New York’s Facial, Plastic. Reconstructive and Laser Surgery, we use state-of-the-art techniques to create or re-establish full youthful lips. As the lips are one of the most mobile and expressive regions of the face, only select materials should be used to enhance lip fullness without risking an unnatural appearance, infection, extrusion, or permanent deformities.

Who is a Candidate for Surgical Lip Implants?
Healthy men and women who desire a permanent solution for plump, luscious volume to their lips may be perfect candidates for surgical lip augmentation.

What is Recovery like from Surgical Lip Implants?
Surgical lip implant surgery is performed in an outpatient setting, with most patients returning home after only a few hours. A very soft and natural appearing implant is used. This implant produces a very natural appearance of the lips and is both safe and permanent.

Prescription pain medication may be required for the first few days. Mild discomfort, swelling, and bruising are common the first week or so after surgery. Most patients feel confident returning to their public and social lives in 7-10 days. Our experienced surgeons reduce bruising and recovery time with the application of state-of-art techniques and the use of homeopathic or herbal options. Detailed postoperative and aftercare instructions will be provided to each patient.

I appreciate that they don’t try to push you into procedures that you don’t want. Most places I have been do try and guilt you in to doing more.Ryan is wonderful!

My LMT was professional and provided a good Swedish massage and addressed areas of discomfort I had indicated. However I thought I had booked the 80 min. spring special and he knew nothing about it! Also room was too warm and small.

The massage therapist, Dana, is terrific! She thoroughly knew what I needed, and I look forward to my next appointment! One topic I'd like to address: the massage therapy room needs to be larger. I’ve felt this way ever since it was changed. (I remember my first massage(s) in one of the larger rooms & after that, we moved to the “walk-in closet-like” space.) It’s a bit odd hearing phone conversations or other people talking at the desk. Perhaps the lounge area doesn't need to be the size it is? Just a thought.
